J. Eric Riedlin

Eric Riedlin is a Managing Director of Monticello Associates. Mr. Riedlin’s primary responsibility at the firm is maintaining client relationships. He is also involved in Monticello’s manager evaluation and search process, and has particular expertise in evaluating derivative and option-based strategies.
Prior to joining Monticello in 1999, Mr. Riedlin was a Vice President at Salomon Smith Barney in the Institutional Fixed Income Group. In that role, he was responsible for developing strategies to help institutional accounts hedge market risk. He also assisted in the implementation and execution of these strategies as well as the creation of hedging policies and guidelines.
Mr. Riedlin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from American University, and graduated from the university’s Economic Policy Program. He has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. Mr. Riedlin currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Denver Teachers’ Awards, an organization that recognizes and honors distinguished teachers for excellence in teaching.
He and his wife Cari reside in the Denver area. They have four children, Casey, Carly, William, and Andrew.
